Golden Hunan Chinese - Porter Ranch

I've been dining at Golden Hunan with my family for more than 25 years. It’s always my favorite spot for Chinese food because they consistently deliver great meals. We usually visit for dinner and order family-style. I hope to remember to take some photos on my next visit so I can update this review!

There are numerous fantastic Chinese restaurants within a short distance of Golden Hunan, but I would choose Hunan over most due to its quality and generous portions. While the dishes might not be the most unique, they more than compensate for it by providing a comforting dining experience. If you’re spending $15 on an entree, you want a satisfying amount of food, and Hunan certainly delivers.

I love this restaurant. It has always been my favorite honestly. The flavors are very authentic…I order Almond Chicken with Hot Sour Soup.

Best customer service and very friendly waitress name Ivy and also very good food.

The restaurant was very short-staffed. The waitress didn’t return to check on us, so we had to search for containers ourselves to take our leftovers home. While the portion sizes were quite generous for the prices, several of the entrées were only lukewarm.
