Country Pride - Portage

I love truck stop restaurants because they typically have great food. Country pride does not disappoint! We come here every time we go to the lighthouse mall and after probably 10 visits over the years we have never been disappointed. Love their unlimited salad bar, they keep it clean and fresh. The country fried steak is delicious and the gravy is perfect. Which is the way we feel about anything else we've tried. We've never been disappointed by the service. I'm sad to see they are no longer open on the weekend

Juana the waitress is very sweet and welcoming. Paula came out and introduced herself and asked how everything was. Great food, great service, well run establishment. Will be back to eat at Country Pride Restaurant.

I love how you can just go on and get the salad bar all you can eat, or pick anything with it. The atmosphere is great and so is the food. Wouldn't have expected that from a travel spot, but amazing things come in packages that aren't as appealing on the outside. Some people need to realize that. Going there again and again.....

Pretty good food. Decent salad bar. A good find in an area without many other choices late at night. Service was friendly but really slow. I was horrified to see a customer enter the kitchen and refill his own drink, all while speaking to the staff who saw him do it. This made me concerned about cleanliness.

Disappointed with the Porterhouse steak I ordered. It was not a Porterhouse. A small Ice cream scoop of Mashed potatoes for $22 bucks. Not worth the money. Told the waitress that this was not a Porterhouse, but no real response from her. So never again.
