Benchwarmer's Grille - Portage

The Italian beef was delicious! The green beans were possibly the best I've ever had. The Bloody Mary could have been improved. We liked the sports murals on the walls, creating a fun atmosphere.

Server was really nice. Really good variety of things on the menu. Ordered buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. It was horrible. Very watery and maybe 10 bites at most in this very small bowl for 12 bucks. Hardly any chicken. All I tasted was a strong Buffalo. It over powered everything. I love Buffalo but couldn't eat this. All the fried apps were super greasy and mushy. My daughter's chicken fingers were very tough and many tendens in them. She wouldn't eat them. Fries were really good. My family members liked their boneless wings. Server was good but sat in a table next to ours with other workers and u could hear everything they were saying. I have worked in restaurants. Not very professional. Go in the back.

I went here with 3 friends after a camping trip and it was fantastic. Food was great and high quality, service was quick and polite, definite recommend.

The food was never cold. The waiter was amazing. The overall surroundings were amazing because there were amazing paintings on the wall. Overall experience was a 10/10!

I have had both take out and dining. All of my food has been great. Beef sandwich, pretzels, onion rings, ham sandwich, boneless wings, Chili. All great and reasonably priced.
