Alchemy Bistro And Wine - Port Townsend

The menu was too limited. the website must be updated to reflect the menu options. the personal was attentive, inexpressible and knowledgeable. my guests were very happy. open table feature lost reservation, although sitting was not a problem.

We ate early so the restaurant was not busy. it was wonderful because we could talk quietly without much noise. that was excellent and this is our favorite choice in port townsend. the place is beautiful and eating is something to be happy.

The food and drink were exceptional. it was the service that was disappointed. when they go to such a beautiful and expensive restaurant, they expect first-class Notch service. we owe the three people we saw that covered the whole restaurant. good service to offer is almost impossible if they are so underused. the three were very pleasant, but obviously overwhelmed. after we had set and ordered, the service stopped. Maybe it was the fact that we went on a holiday week, so we plan to try again. we will not recommend this restaurant at this place to our friends, but, as we said, we go back and try again because the food and drink were made so good.

What a let down! We paid over $200 for a dinner that was bland, undercooked, and unseasoned. The garlic bread looked and tasted like it came from the grocery store freezer. Steak was expensive, and was served basically raw. No flavor. I’ve had better steak at Chili’s and Applebees! Everything was disappointing and underwhelming. Just terrible.

Wait staff were quite personable and friendly. Food was excellent!
