The Caledonian Inn - PORT FAIRY

Had a nice beef crucible for dinner, was a bit worried about lack of veg or salat on the menu, but they put a nice salad and sweet buffet they can help themselves. my man had a seafood basket that was good, but he said he had simply had the salatbuffet for dinner. really busy Saturday night we were there early but could not have gotten a table without a booking later.

Great country pub meal, home style cooking, open fire, friendly welcome. We had a roast of the day and lamb cutlets, both excellent. Help yourself to veges salad. Good value, trouble-free dining.

Paid $22 dollars for vegetarian risotto and was disappointed when my meal came out and it was rice, no sauce, cheap supermarket olives and sun dried tomato's with a couple of zucchini pieces. There are a lot of great places to eat in port fairy, this is not one of them. Go somewhere else

Amazing steak!!!. Place could do with a lick of paint... But apart from that amazing food, awesome staff. We will be back.

Ate here Nov 14. Really lovely beef and guiness pie- great depth of flavour and crunchy pastry. Self serve veggies were delicious and helped me avoid snacking on chips! More craft beers behind the bar and a bit of a deco update and it would be the perfect pub
