Railway Hotel - PORT ADELAIDE

Came on a Friday night to see contemporary jazz group Marmalade Trio, and had a lovely time.  Friendly staff took our order and suggested a table.  Both had burger drink for 18. Drinks picked up straight away and burgers arrived after 15 mins.  My beef burger had a nice flavour to the pattie, and a good size that is eatable as a burger (rather than being so large has to be eaten in bits).  Accompanying chips crunchy and tomato sauce a bit like a home made variety.  With a wine, pretty good value.  We ordered decaf coffee later which was yummy too.  As to the band, which I acknowledge is a good friend, had us hooked! Will be back.

Great pub, great atmosphere, friendly and great band.

The prices at this restaurant are reasonable and I have visited multiple times. They consistently have talented and entertaining musicians performing every week. I highly recommend checking out the cover band 'GRIFFIN' and tonight's performance by 'SPIRIT OF ALONDRAY' featuring brilliant original music. I suggest purchasing their CD as they are a 5 star band.

Nice place, good food. Been there several times before always feel welcome. Will keep going there
