Cafe' Del Parco - POPPI

I ate in this inn located in the heart of Camaldoli. The place is nice as is the staff. I appreciated being able to have lunch on the internal mezzanine. The waitress greeted us warmly and showed us the dishes off the menu. Fried porcini mushrooms are undoubtedly one of their strong points, simply delicious! The strozzapreti truffle sauce was perfectly balanced and the tagliatelle ragù was also delicious. I recommend this restaurant for those who want to have a pleasant lunch during a trip out of town.

Really good prices as their cuisine is worth going there!

This restaurant is one of the best I visited. the personal was very helpful. the food was excellent. the fixed menu del funghi. we had a very generous part of the beautiful tagliatelle. the next cure was salumi misti with fried mushrooms. we had schiaccata...vita so delicious. we then had with mascarpone and chocolate mousse. it was a delicious meal and the house red wine was very tasteful.

Of 10, I would give this place 5 or maybe 6. it's okay, but nothing that would make me go back. the surrounding place camaldoli is absolutely stunning, that is likely why I was eager and excited to go to Cafe...del parco. I might have expected too much. the antipasto that the affettati selection was quite minimal, just a few slices cut ham and a lot of brot. I had a suppe that was okay. the service was quite present,' which it did not have to be. the total experience, eating, service and ambiente was average, in an exceptional natural environment!

A little clamorous. light and greedy, difficult to stop at the first. very kind staff, we were going through the bicycles, they insisted to put them safe in the tables not to leave them on the street. next round at camaldoli we already know where to stop for refreshment!
