Bidra med feedbackTerrible food ending in stomach sensations. derogatory to true Indian cuisine which should be rich in flavors. totally wasted time and money. the restaurant itself very poor and uninviting with the outfit .Highly not recommend!
Collected a takeaway this evening. Wish I had read reviews on here first. Most of the food was luke warm not hot, rice dry and undercooked, lamb tough, veg dishes lacking flavour. Very disappointed won't use again.
Awful food says it all really. No flavour and swimming in oil burnt popadoms. The best bit was the onion salad which hadn’t been cooked. We did eat as a take away but never did we ever have something this bad.
My main concern is that there were no windows in the dining area that could be opened and hence many people were coughing because the cooking fumes were reaching the dining area. There was water running down the windows from condensation. it was like a sauna. Food was nothing special and lukewarm. The waiters were hardworking
I would traditionally have gone to Mint for an Indian meal in Ashley Cross, but now that it is closed to table service I visited here instead. It was a fairly average experience. They do not have a license so if you want to have alcohol with your meal, you have to buy it from the co-op across the street. It is a very tired space in need of a remodel. I was shown to my table and sat for several minutes without a menu which I then had to ask for. Not a good start to the evening. My meal was okay but arrived cold which was a surprise given that the place wasn’t particularly busy. In fact the hot towel at the end of the meal was warmer than my curry. So overall not a particularly inspiring experience.
