This place is now called Veggie Hut and is under new management. I stopped just before lunch last weekend and got spicy sweet squirrels fritters for £4.10, which was a quite essential snack and tasty. I have a bunch of frit similar to Falafel ball size and they came with diving sauce and a Coleslaw side salad. I also had a really good coffee. The whole place is vegan and they have a nice selection of spices and teas for sale. People are beautiful and friendly. You also have cakes and other snacks in a display case, but the cake was sold out before I could order one. Apparently Fridays and Saturdays were not so busy so they were not in stock on cakes for these days. Move! Search the Veggie Hat on Facebook.

The hotel is located in the beautiful Pontypridd indoor market. Excellent selection of foods at great prices. I can highly recommend breakfast and my friends cakes looked amazing. Thank you Soul Spice. Will definitely be back.
