Restaurante O Brasão do Lima

Staff was very friendly and the place is central and nice. But the food was poor…Starting with the soup lacking taste and extremely watery. The main dishes were rojões we could hardly find them as they were served with lots of diferente “enchidos” on top that tasted like seitan or tofu definitely not the traditional “enchidos” that we know. It was also served with “serrabulho” rice very tasty but the rice was overcooked. We also ordered the very expensive Posta maturada 40€/kg we have tried to order only half a kg but we weren’t aloud, posta steaks are all around 1kg and so we had to order 1kg of posta meat. Unfortunately the Posta meat come and it should have melted in our mouths but it didn’t… was tough as shoe leather hard, wasn’t tender at all. These dishes were served with chips and salad but we asked for boiled vegetables instead and they were charged as an extra dishes. The bill was somewhat very expensive considering the meal and what we had. Unfortunately we do not recommend this place :

Visited this restaurant with a local colleague for dinner. The food was exceptional..freshly prepared and wonderful taste. We had Sea Bass, which was fresh and huge..enough for two persons (as we shared). The choice on the menu extensive, and the ambience inside good. Plenty of locals eating within, which is a good sign. Its not the cheapest, so if you are on a budget there are other restaurants better suited. But if you want a quality meal, and choice of wines at a higher price point this is a good bet. Enjoyed the evening here.
