Verholy Relax Park - Poltava

Amazing place, very pretty, perfect in many ways. However very pricey, the most expensive place I have been in surroundings. So be ready to spend a solid amount of money.

The service is a joke. The staff don't explain things properly, make backhanded comments at you, and borderline insult you for their own pleasure. This place is too famous to have good service. So you might as well go to Montenegro or France and spend the same amount per night to have a vacation somewhere with smiling staff who actually want your business. I would never come back here again.

Had booked a cottage for our anniversary. We got sick 2 days before the trip, informed the hotel. their booking department decided to charge us around 6000UAH for either cancellation or rescheduling cause as per their rules any amendments can be done not later than 96 hours before the checkin. we informed within 48 hours). During Covid uncertain time do not recommend dealing with this business. Just loss of money. Worst experience ever.

Good location, good hotel. Stuff sometimes is friendly and responsive while sometime is not. I guess it depends on their mood. Do not order food near the pool area it is junk and overpriced. Spa is good thought.

It was a great place to visit in 2016-2017 years. After that the service became worse and worse. This year experience convinced us to forget about Verholy resort forever. Very unpleasant staff, all requests are met with RBF. They make you a favor by hosting you at the hotel. They closed sales through booking.com, though you can’t share your feedback with other guests. Room photos on the website are different from the reality. Coffee cups in the room that have been complimentary during all these years, now are for an additional fee. By the way, don’t drink it. Instead of Nespresso, now you could find unknown cheep brand. Hungry city dwellers are ready to pay in any way. So the voice of one person is the voice of no one.
