Bidra med feedbackWhile their menu has limited vegan options, I was able to request a custom mofongo with sautéed vegetables, which isn’t listed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any vegan protein, but they did a fantastic job with the ingredients they had. Their piña colada is likely the best I’ve had outside of Puerto Rico. Everyone I dined with thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I do wish they had more knowledge of vegan cooking so I could have included some protein in my dish.
The service is terrible! I waited about 20 minutes at my table for someone to take my drink order. The server is also the bartender, so they had to take my drink order and make the cocktails themselves.
- White rice and beans: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - Breaded Chicken: So tasty - Pollo Salteado: Very good, but the flavor leans a bit too Asian for my taste - Alcapurrias with crab: Quite good, though could use more crab meat Keep in mind that this restaurant is located in a truck stop, so parking is limited and it can be a bit tricky to find, but I have faith that you'll locate it!
I recently called this business to inquire about making a reservation for 14 with a major corporation CEO but the way they conducted their business over the phone turned me away forever . A woman answered the phone and told me no reservations could be made a a wait time of 2 hours even though the event isn’t for another 3 weeks. When I asked to assure she understood it wasn’t for today it’s for three weeks she hung up on me and I’ve tried to call back numerous times no one has answered the lines . I wouldn’t suggest a business that conduct phone calls in such an unprofessional nasty manor. I can’t imagine how it would be in person . They lost money and potential future loyal customers .
Our dinner lived up to expectations! GrillersPR is IG famous and the food lived up to the hype. We will be going back. We started with a couple drinks the mojito (good, recommend) and the blue long Island (good and strong). For appetizers we had calamari (good, small pieces), the mini Empanadas (good, but light on the meat filling), the Alcapuria (very good). For the main courses we had the shrimp Mofongo (great, plenty of mofongo, 6 large shrimp, and the garlic saucewas awesome), stuffed chicken (delicious, stuffed with yuca, wrapped in bacon, covered in a garlic sauce), three sushi rolls (really tasty) Our waiter was Wilson, he was busy and provided good service. This restaurant is located right off the Florida turnpike exit on Orlo Bronson, next to a hotel/motel. Their is ample parking in the lot. The owners social media team definitely know how to showcase this place. We are in a Friday night so there was a 2 person band singing and playing instruments, they were very good and tried to get the enthuse the crowd.
