Trattoria Dal Monaco - POLIGNANO A MARE

Food was good, but be prepared for bad service in a narrow place, with tables positioned too close to the other. First, the waiter took too long to take our orders, simply ignored us. My wife´s appetizer arrived much earlier than mine, and when I got it and she was still working with hers her main dish arrived: awful timing! I asked the waiter to return it, and we were treated even worse after that. They don´t have a menu, just QR code: a senior couple asked for the menu, and 2 young waiters told them to read the code. They did not have access to the web or did not know how to do it, they left and the waiters stayed laughing and mocking at them. This is not human nor professional! I would never get back! Food was good, but such a bad experience...

The food was just not worth it and the staff was do UK do worse. Outside it was cute, but inside was just closed and messy. . .

We had the most wonderful meal. Despite being fully booked the lovely staff managed to fit us in. The food we so good! Really glad we went with the mixed apetisers as everything was worth a try. The house wine was delicious. Definitely recommend for a local dining experience.

La cucina del vito 'il monaco' è una cucina fatta di pesce fresco, è una cucina fatta in casa, fatta di arte e amore per il cibo. Lo consiglio a tutti, se venite a polignano a mare, scegliete il monaco.

Ottima esperienza. un fiore nell'ochiello per il polignano. non avrete la vista mare, ma preferisco mangiare bene e il prezzo è molto onesto. Suggerirei questo trattore a tutti. molto onesto e molto bello. Fidati. Bene.
