It certainly deserves more than five stars! Nueva Allandesa is a true gastronomic paradise. From the first bite of the bonito roasted pepper salad, we were in awe of the combination of fresh and juicy flavors. The dish was a prelude to the feast that followed with the cabbage stew and its side dish, an explosion of flavors and textures that left us speechless. Although filling our palates with these delicacies was an absolute pleasure, the generous portion of the pottage left us satisfied to the last bite. You definitely have to bring a good appetite! Also, the friendliness of the waiter added a warm touch to our dining experience. His attention and knowledge of the dishes made us feel really welcome. In short, Nueva Allandesa is a gastronomic treasure. From the amazing salad to the spectacular pottage to the friendly service, this restaurant deserves more praise than I can express here. We booked a table on the same day, and although they said no problem, I think it was a good idea because 30 minutes after we arrived the place was packed! The place is clean and bright, and we got a table by the window, which helped a little with the heat from the food! We allowed the owner to feed us and he brought what he thought we should try.. Goooooooooood!! The poet asturiano was really good, but just too big for two people.. And afterwards he brought the fabes to die for, the pastel de verduras which is a vegetable pudding very nice with tomato sauce, and the repollo relleno that was simply spectacular. Dessert was stunning, a platter with 5 different desserts plus rice pudding. We then had coffee and went for a walk to try and digest all the food we had eaten!! Price was good, 28€ per person with drinks (water and wine) included... It is worth a visit, don 't doubt it for a second!!
