TaTa's Restaurant - POINT SAMSON

Went for breakfast in a group, ordered coffees and smoothies first. Coffees barely contained coffee the cappuccinos were quite literally just darker than white. Three of us had berry smoothies raspberries, strawberries and coconut water. I assumed this was the base and it would be a normal smoothie but that was the entire ingredient list. It came out a strange sweet gelatinous concoction, like thinned down strawberry jam, but with all the seeds and no ice so it was room temp. Breakfast was quite nice, I had the smashed avo on toast. Yum. Lots of pesto included which was not on the menu. Lucky I like it! However, the meals took about an hour to arrive. Lovely staff but it was too long to wait for a pretty average meal. We probably should have just cooked eggs on the gas burner but as we were camping we wanted a treat. Other reviews suggest dinners are nice here though.

Just ordered a croissant and bacon and egg on Turkish bread. Was $25 and very very average. Had one tiny piece of bacon and totally dry. Same with the croissant. Have had better from a servo. Good service though and friendly staff

I have wonderful memories of absolutely delicious meals drinks here but this weekend was really terrible. Coffee was weak, watery and warm. The breakfast bacon egg pie was an underwhelming slice of reheated pie with a handful of baby spinach next to it I've had better at Muffin Break . The smoothies were overpriced and tasted odd I think things had been substituted e.g fresh pineapple swapped out for reconstituted pineapple juice. To be fair the staff were lovely but clearly they are out of their depth with food prep does not seem to be anyone onsite who is a chef/cook. Was really looking forward to eating here but left feeling very ripped off, disappointed and hungry!!

Over 50min before the last person got there meal! Food coming out in drips and drabs....Luke warm water and hot chocolates were served! Forgot our garlic bread! I will say they did try to make up for it by allowing us to have a couple of our meals for free as well as complementary milk shake... also waiter was very pleasant.. but no one wants to wait close to an hour for food to only be half satisfactory....

My friend and I recently went for a catch up over breakfast. Tapas Cafe was lovely and peaceful. Very friendly staff and the Frittata was very tasty. Thank you to the Chef and lovely wait staff. We were even blessed to spot Wales from the jetty.
