Bidra med feedbackI’ve used Warrens for a few years now and in my humble opinion they’re the nicest pasties and pastries you can get around Plymouth from a ‘chain bakery’ BUT you’d have to remortgage your house if you want to buy for a family of 5 like I have sometimes. They’re really expensive. I’d also advise getting sweet pastries early on in the day too to avoid any being stale. A massive plus is that the staff are lovely at this particular branch.
We visited on Thursday 15th of August around Midday therefore you would have thought food would have been hot! Unfortunately the pasties were luke warm, had a very fatty taste to them and not good quality! For 2 medium size pasties which were more like small in size compared to other bakeries the cost being over £7.00 they were poor quality! We will not be returning to this bakery!
We called in for a sausage roll and a pasty nice and fresh hot quite expensive cakes looked nice and so did the rolls
The trouble with Warrens is that the the pasties, sausage rolls and the huge choice of cakes are too often stale and especially with the items kept in the counter top warming cabinet. It 's an expensive shop in my opinion compared to the likes of Ivor Dewdney....I would hope for a top notch pastie but they aren 't. The 'large ' is now a 'medium ' of a few years ago. I suppose this is the same trick all food manufacturing trick.
A nice selection friendly staff good service but i thought it is very expensive.we would go back again
