The Britannia Inn - Plymouth

I don't want to shock anyone who has not been to this spoons before but the toilets are on the ground floor. We were so focused looking for stairs we missed them! Only stayed for one drink but the place was clean, service was speedy and the outside drinking area was really inviting a great little suntrap!

Very relaxed wetherspoons, me and my friend visited after swimming at the life centre. Table service was fast and the staff were so lovely and it seemed like they were happy to be there. It's accessible for many different medical conditions and disabilities and there's no horrendous stairs to the bathroom for once.(that's what spoons are known for) the atmosphere was lovely and although small it seemed really homely.

We went hear when October fest was on at Central Park, was absolutely packed out but turned out to be a great event..

Got to love a spoons, the staff at the Britannia are always friendly, there's more of a family feel here than other spoons I have been to, depending on the time of day you visit of course. It's clean, as standard the drinks are cheap and there's an outdoor area too, spot on.

Got a little worse for wear, the alcohol just hit me quickly. After working in hospitality for many years I know how annoying people like me can be. Have pinned it on exhaustion and lack of eating. The staff were superb and I can't fault them in the slightest. Thanks guys for the support that night. I don't however recommend the rosè wine (I'm still blaming it
