Bidra med feedbackWe were in a mood for some ice cream found this place. It's worth the time to stop by. The soft serve ice cream was perfect for the weather. My bestie and I made our taste buds happy !
Tasty soft serve place! Price is reasonable. Hopefully they can allow one taiyaki purchase.
We tried ube and matcha combination, it's really great! Beautiful and tasty ice-cream.
My daughter LOVE this place. She and I stopped by from 85° bakery few doors away. We split a cup of guava and ube swirl and upside down ah boong (fish shape waffle) with red bean inside. Very satisfying. It's so good. So mental!! Swirl varies by location. Thankfully this location has guava, ube, mango, and matcha (and other flavors) which are my favorite either a combo swirl or by itself. These are soft serve ice cream by the way. Must try. Can't eat them frequently but definitely give it a try. Right now it is summer (June July) and they have guava and mango swirl, another favorite. So give it a try.
I've been eager to try the Ube soft serve for weeks, and I finally went for it, but unfortunately, I was let down. While the vibrant purple color is stunning, the Ube flavor was so weak that it felt more like eating purple cream-flavored soft serve. The texture was fantastic—very creamy—but the taste was disappointing. It reminded me of my childhood when I had taro-flavored ice cream from Polly Ann at Ranch 99, which was packed with intense taro flavor. On a brighter note, Polly Ann recently announced on their Facebook page that they’re returning to retail stores, which is exciting! The service at this place was excellent, though. As for the macaroon, I’d recommend skipping it; it was cute but far too sweet and didn’t taste good at all—I had to spit it out because it was that unpleasant. I hope Somisomi sees this and enhances the Ube flavor!
