Bidra med feedbackIHOP is a great alternative choice for those craving pancakes. Although weekends can get busy, the wait is definitely worth it.
Compared to IHOP, it is a bit more expensive, but the food is better. It's very busy, but we like the staff.
This is a wonderful spot for breakfast, but be sure to arrive early to avoid a lengthy wait. I particularly enjoyed the Swedish pancakes and the extra cup of coffee I ordered.
This restaurant is definitely superior to any other breakfast spot. Coming from Texas, I must say that the original Pancake House is superior. The crepes were basically just thin pancakes. I had to request fresh strawberries instead of the jam typically served with French crepes. The children's menu is fantastic! My kids adored the bear face pancakes, and I appreciate that the pancakes don't come overloaded with chocolate, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.
We've been coming to the Pleasant Hill location since it opened. Have always had great pancakes and the best (thickest) Bacon ever (well done). I love their French crepes with Tropical syrup while husband keeps bouncing between Swedish crepes and plain buttermilk pancakes. Always have had good service; sorry to hear others have had different story. We wish it was open for dinner because breakfast for dinner is always great!
