Tanner's Coffee Co. Playa Del Rey

I don't often drink coffee, but they really do serve some excellent beverages here. The sandwiches are also hot and fresh!

This restaurant is a genuine find! The smoothies, coffee, and pastries are all exceptional. The prices are quite fair, particularly given the location. The staff is welcoming and provides prompt service. The ambiance is clean and has a great vibe. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love Tanners! I visit every time I have to drop someone off or pick them up from the airport, and I always take a walk along the beach afterwards. Their sprouts bagel is incredibly delicious. It’s a fantastic place to relax—cozy and charming with a nostalgic vibe. The coffee is delicious as well. Mars and John make the best barista and bagel team around!

I used to visit Tanners 3 to 5 times a week while studying at LMU nearly 15 years ago, and it still ranks among my top five favorite coffee shops. Whenever I'm in LA, I always make a point to drop by for a coffee and a snack, enjoying the outdoor seating for some people-watching. Situated close to the beach, Tanners offers AMAZING coffee, delightful pastries, and a fantastic atmosphere—what's not to love?
