Bidra med feedbackWe made ourselves feel like home. and their quekkas are a perfect option for a rich but fast lunch. I had the shrooms and I still dream of
We went here based on all the good reviews. Husband and I both got the chicken tinga. Not impressed...lacked taste. We were very disappointed and although it is cheap it’s not some place I would ever want to eat again.
What can I say it’s all homemade and delicious. I have always had great service and great food. My kids loved it
This place is on 10th Ave right behind the shopping mall just south of the ferry landing (across the street from the good public bathrooms). This tiny, open air taqueria is loved by the locals. I was drawn to the sign that said chicharron quesadillas ....Although the pork wasn 't the chicharron I was expecting, it was pork in a red sauce, but delicious, hot and fresh. You can watch the cooks hand-make the tortillas and cook them and fill them right there. Nobody inside speaks english and be prepared to pay in pesos, but at $15 pesos each, that 's easy. It was clean and very friendly.
Let me just say that for 13 pesos per each freshly made quesadilla, you cannot go wrong. The tortillas for each quesadilla and sope are handmade from masa. I stumbled upon this place as I was taking a walk through 15 ave playa Del Carmen....This restaurant has the best quesadillas in town. The ambiance is not fancy at all, but the food is very tasty. Also, the place is clean. This is definitely a place where the locals come to eat. I found myself coming to eat here and skipping lunch at my hotel which was all inclusive.
