Don Pepperoni Playacar Comida Argentina

We had a bad experience with another pizza place in the city, but someone in our pool in paseo del sol condominiums recommended this small place right around the corner in playacar. with low expectations we went over and ordered a deep dish meat pizza, a filled calzone and a few salads, the first a Mediterranean salad with a healthy mix of vegetables and a light but tasty dressing, the second one a toskana with prosciutto loaded. it was loaded up to the point of balance with the salty prosciutto, but still quite good. the main course was however the buenas aires deep plate, which was actually a very strong cotender with great sauce a delicious crust and abundant cheese. the crust is a thick, slightly crunchy wood fired sort very good. to warn a pizza, two easy, maybe three. the calzone (we ordered over) was also a similarly filled filling offer with great taste. a little irritant was the occasional traffic through the restaurant to the souvenir stands, easily solved by a few strategically placed pot plants. the food wore the day and guaranteed the 5 stars. it seems from other reviews that experiences are uneven, but we certainly enjoyed our meal.

I will say our first meal was pretty dared good the pizza delicious and the beer was cold, it was a pleasure to have an evening. we returned a week or so later and the service was not as friendly and either our pizza it tasted totally...different and we were more for the same meal as we first come. we will return one day as we always give second chances, I hope it will be like the first day we arrived in their restaurant, friendly with a beautiful delicious pizza.

There has been an obvious change in managers from our previous three years. In past years it was a great go to restaurant from our hotel a short walk special of the day offerings kept the price level very cheap. Now they can 't decide if...they are having specials or not. One night we went and yes there was a chicken special. It was 7 pm and we had soup chicken and a salad it was not fantastic but it was tasty and on a rainy night convenient for us. A couple of nights later at 5:45 we ordered the special again and after a 20 minute wait got our plate of food with the salad. I asked where our appetizer salad was oh no special after 6 pm. We explained we ordered way before 6 no go. It is a small issue just a couple of dollars more but coupled with the so so food, we skipped the restaurant and can 't recommend it to others. We took our business to the delicious and lovely cards Sophia.

The margherita pizza, empanadas, guacamole, pastor tacos, chicken tacos and Arrachera tacos were all amazing!

Terrible eating and terrible service. I wanted to get four tacos tonight. two with cheese and two without. I make it home and go to eat to find out those are all without cheese and have no toppings (cilliantro or wobbles). I wanted to go back and asked the staff that told me that they could put on two, but were out of wobbles and zilantro. the workers were too busy watching the game to notice what is going on. do not expect the right order. will not return.
