Bidra med feedbackSylvester and team offer outstanding service and food at reasonable prices. We are very thankful to have a well run and outstanding restaurant on the square. Highly recommended
My wife and I have eaten here at least 5 times since opening. Their chips are fantastic, salsa is usually pretty good but varies in taste because it's made in house. Burritos Mendoza has been my favorite, Second would be the chorizo tacos. Asada is pretty good as well. My wife has gotten the fajitas several times and she really likes them. This restaurant is much closer to authentic Mexican food compared to others in the area. Pricing is fair as well.
You cannot say that the service is slow, we had 3 servers and what appears to be 2 owners come to the table before we could open a menu. Then they still got the drink order wrong. The sauce was bland and had an odd spice pallet, it was hard to guess what it might be. We ordered the chicken nachos, I did not see that if you wanted bland chicken with white sauce thickened with masa ONLY you have to order the supreme nachos. It might not have been their night, we just cut our losses and went someplace else. While we were sitting there eating our appetizer we had every owner, cashier and waiter ask us for our dinner order. It was like sitting a shark cage with everyone circling waiting for a kill. The sign says authentic, but having traveled in Mexico and South America. I was hoping for the bright flavors and spices I had gotten used to down there. Not this bland soggy goop some people might call authentic because they hope people will not know the difference.
I recently moved to the area and was on the lookout for a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, and I found it! The chiles rellenos were the best I've ever had. The service was excellent too!
We arrived early on a Saturday night and experienced excellent service! The food was fresh and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place. Just so you know, I've been here twice—during my first visit, I loved the street tacos, but on my second trip, I tried the Pick 3 plate. I usually stick to what I know, but I decided to switch it up this time. The tostaguac, fried beef taco, and cheese enchilada with onions were all fantastic! The fresh guacamole really sealed the deal; you can tell it's made in-house.
