However, I visited on Saturday and it seems like things are getting back on track. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is very good. This place offers the best home-style breakfast I've found for miles. The trip is definitely worth it! Their biscuits and gravy are unbeatable, and I almost want to keep them a secret!
The restaurant is spacious, but the last time we visited, my biscuits and gravy were very cold, as were my brother's. We also had to wait an hour for our food.
What a charming little country café this place is! It's been a family favorite for years. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly, and the small-town atmosphere adds to the experience. I also enjoy the breakfast buffet they offer on the last Sunday of every month.
Great eating altogether but I have difficulty getting my cookies gravy hot.
Bought for office breakfast: several cinnamon rolls, cookies and gravy, and speck; everything to go. cinnamon rolls were very dry; as day old. biscuits and gravur were good, speck tasty.
