Great place to breakfast and dinner. like her cookies and gravy. they do it right, best in the opposite, jennifer and the rest of the waiting staff make a really great job. wavy with an exception. this morning my waitress kristi left my breakfast in the window until it was cold. I had to ask someone to get my coffee, water and cutlery after I had waited a long time. later she offered me an order of cookies and gravy. I had waited and rejected too long. just in time with my scary, not as friendly as she should be in the service industry. she has to work on her personality. can sound a little hard, just to say how it is. I like the country cafe. Since they opened, they go on.

Good, wholesome food, BUT, I do have a couple of complaints. The Grilled Hamburger Steak was very thin/flat like you'd put on a bun. It should have been at least twice as thick, juicier, and at least salt and pepper; disappointing. The menu offers baked potatoes, but they fail to say they aren't available until 4 p.m., so I ended up getting mashed potatoes (they may have been real or boxed, but they were ok). The saving grace was that the gravy was homemade or very good packaged. I think it was scratch because it had very large, nice mushrooms and sautéed onions. The biscuit was nice and pretty large.As I said, the food was good; it just needed more seasoning during the cooking process.I'll definitely eat here again, but I'll caution then when I order about the cooking process seasoning process BEFORE my order to the cook.

Our server, hailey was terrible. they ignored me and tried to flirt with my man. she has messed me up on my order and not refilled my drink, although she has asked for a refill several times. that was the location lathrop.

Their food is great. For a newer building they seem to have several issues like air conditioning going out. They keep rather odd hours, closed by 3pm on Sunday? Seems like that would be the evening when most drivers are looking for a good meal.
