Fish Shack - Plano

Great food we had a po boy, fried catfish, fried shrimp and onion rings and everything was great!

I am from Louisiana. I LOVE this place! The catfish are large and hot! The people who work here are sooo friendly. They have become family to me cause they treat me (and all guest) like family. I have been coming here since 2015. If you want great food...thus is the place.

I really want to move away from over or under rating places that I visit. With Fish Shack, they have to get 5 stars. I am a gulf coast fried seafood lover. I like broiled and grilled as well, but fried seafood and fish takes me back to what I grew up eating. Fish Shack checks all the right boxes with me. From ordering at the counter to eating at a picnic table (indoors or outside), Fish Shack does it right. And the fried fish and seafood is excellent. Not greasy or slimy at all, just good fried seafood. And it is consistently good. I highly recommend Fish Shack.

I was looking for a place to sit and enjoy lunch, instead of the typical drive-thru, when I noticed how busy the parking lot was at The Fish Shack. I'm so glad I decided to stop! Everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is quaint and inviting and the food was really good!

I ordered at the front, i got my food pretty quick within 15 minutes. the catfish was yummy and so was the soup. im happy it did not have bacon in it. would definitely visit again. in the photos: clam chowder, grilled salmon, fried oysters and onion rings, and two fried catfish.
