Bidra med feedbackSeemed nice. But, nearly every time I’ve been by during normal daylight hours when any reasonable business would be open, it’s closed. And the one time it was open, I had to walk an extra half hour to the bank because in 2023 they can’t be bothered to use cards like any modern place and insist on cash. Then, in the end, my pretzel was cold anyway and so was the cheese sauce. Has so much potential, but don’t waste your time getting excited about this place like I did. You’ll only be disappointed.
About once a month I get some pretzel dogs, hot sausage sandwiches, and plain bagels for making other sandwiches. They are always fresh, fast, and consistent.
Happy to see this shop is still in business. They sold pretzels outside my school in the fifties, and they were a staple of my daily diet for years. A stop at this shop is still a must, I have never found anything that compares.
Lots of variety, and cool sandwiches you can’t get anywhere else. Everything is always delicious, and you can’t beat the prices! Great place for a quick snack/lunch on a budget.
Aside from some goodies I received from a Yelp offer, I visited recently and got a chicken salad pretzel sandwich, some tuna macaroni salad and some cinnamon sugar pretzels with icing dip. Everything I had was delicious and reasonably priced. I'd love to try other things, like the parmesan bacon pretzel or a pretzel sub. My total ended up being $20 and some change and when she saw I had no coins on me, the cashier told me not to worry about the extra few cents and I really appreciated that. I love how old school this place is, but I do wish they accepted credit card payments.
