Or the Whale - Pittsburgh

We really liked the decor and the open kitchen at this restaurant. We decided to have brunch and enjoyed the cocktails, but felt that the food was not as impressive considering the prices. However, the pastry platter was definitely worth it!

The meal at this restaurant was not quite up to fine dining standards. The dishes were good, but nothing extraordinary. The highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert - a big shoutout to the pastry chef for that!

There are better restaurants in the city. The food was okay, but the portions were very small for the price. The staff was great and very knowledgeable, but you should never leave a restaurant feeling hungry (which we did).

I have a disability and the staff made sure we had a comfortable and accessible table. Our waiter made each item on the menu sound enticing. The chef did not disappoint. Oysters on the half shell we're superb. My husband had the rib eye and I enjoyed the duck breast which was perfectly prepared. We both enjoyed our dainty and delicious desserts. It truly was a special evening.

We went to Or! The Whale for our Valentine's dinner, and could not be happier with the experience! Great food, venue and staff. Thank you!
