Federal Galley - Pittsburgh

We visited here twice in two days,once for lunch and once for dinner. The service during lunch was not great. The staff was just sitting around talking and it took forever to get our food. The service was much better during dinner. The food was all good, especially the food from Driven PGH. The drinks were hit or miss. The vibe is pretty chill and a nice place for happy hour. I say, check it out!

Ordered from Shaka and got the Braised pork belly bowl. It was pretty tasty! A bit on the expensive side compared to the portion. I love the concept of this place. I enjoyed a beer with my meal and had an overall positive experience. I will be back to check out other kitchens!Food: 4/5

The Federal Galley food hall and restaurant accelerator features four unique restaurant concepts. As of April 2023 they house Salute (Pub Fare), Shaka (Hawaiian), Driven (Deep Dish Pizza) and Given To Fly (Chicken) . These businesses are able to go rent free and Federal Galley helps in building their brands and encourages their future success in the industry. What an incredible concept! QR codes on the tables will lead you to the menu. Grab your own water and 21+ drinks or order non-alcoholic drinks from your favorite restaurant.

Cute place. Lots of outdoor seating. Parking is pretty easy, either on street or in the parking garage. However, they're clearly understaffed. We ordered two rounds of drinks, first round took about 20 min. Second round has taken over 30 minutes and we still haven't gotten them...UPDATE: I did add an additional star because a busser was able to have a manager refund 2 of our drinks due to the wait.
