Deli On North Avenue - Pittsburgh

I come here often for lunch and have tried a lot of the sandwiches, they're all tasty but I do have some favorites, like the muffaletta, Cuban, and pork stacker. There's quite a variety, which I appreciate, and the menu lists all the ingredients. Thechicken salad is addictive and the people are sweet. Give it a try!

When they get your order right the food is pretty good. However, every time I order it's never completely what I ordered. I ordered a veggie sandwich which was supposed to have yellow squash, zucchini and roasted red peppers, but I got cucumber, bananapeppers and olives instead which wouldn't be bad if I wasn't allergic to olives. I also ordered the turkey avocado panini whichto my disappointment had no avocado on it. I also ordered BBQ potato chips and got voodoo chips instead which have a distinctvinegar flavor which I am not a fan of. They should also think about having a prepaid order shelf because the lines can getsuper long around lunch and I don't have forever to wait for an order that said it was ready 30min ago but I can't get tobecause I have to wait in line. So other than that, the food is great, when they get your order right.

Great small business deli. Big menu. Large sandwiches. Pretty quick even during lunch rush from entering to eating. Only downside is it's a lunch only place.

In this area to visit the old cathedral. Looking for legit deli experience. This place had homemade soup, homemade salads and sandwiches, and the price was perfect. Everything we ate was fresh, and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend.

Pete and the gang are some of the sweetest souls in the neighborhood! They are hard working and friendly, not to mention the incredible sandwiches! The muffuletta and the spicy roast beef are to die for, and I’d wait as long as I need too, because it is so worth it
