Jolly Coachman Pub Liquor Store

For someone that lives downtown Vancouver - I spend a lot of time in Jolly Coachman.

This is our go to restaurant when we are wanting a good steak, and I want a perfectly made Dirty Martini.

Nice atmosphere and great servers. However, I cannot give a thumbs up to the food we ordered. The nachos and chicken wings seemed too dry. Not sure when I visit family in the area if I would give it a second chance.

Good food especially for a pub and generous portions. Went there on a Thursday night and the place was packed. Service was very helpful and friendly, but definitely stretched. Fairly limited beer menu compared to craft selections elsewhere. A locals type of place but so many people there that you couldn't help but feel welcome. Clean but the decor could use some updating. Recommended if you're in the area.

If your not paying attention you could drive right past this little gem. We were out visiting friends for Canada's 150 Birthday and they suggested we go for drinks and supper at the local pub just down the road. This place was awesome, it looks like it's been here forever, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was amazing and she had our drinks on the table within minutes of our order. The place only holds 100 people inside and lot on the patio. Very nicely done, my beautiful wife ordered a Caesar. it was the best Caesar I have ever seen. it was massive, it came with an olive, Banana pepper, pickle, Tomato, celery stick, green Bean, Asparagus, and a pepperoni stick. What a complete meal. our meals were also excellent and very reasonable in price. We were lucky enough to be able to walk home after all the drinks and delicious food.
