Ventana Grill - PISMO BEACH

Eating was just okay. the tortillas at the place were good. we have a good service. we went past early to see outdoor seating, and they didn't (not surprising - it was cold and windy) though they said we were taking out and sitting on their deck. we didn't want to sit outside under these circumstances, so the hostess has booked our table through a window that could be opened while we were there, which was a great accommodation. when we arrived there, our server was very helpful and attentive.

Great meal with various takes on Mexican dishes that were very attractive and all that while looking at the beautiful pacif, what a romantic location!

We enjoyed the birthday dinner of my man comfortable, great eating and a wonderful waiter. april was attentive and even caught that my non-alcoholic cosmo had been accidentally made with alcohol before they actually served it. sea bass, filet mignon, dessert: all wonderful.

There were four of us and we all had the special, sea bass. Was Ok, not as good as when I had the halibut. My husband and I shared a wedge salad and it could have had more blue cheese dressing. We also shared a mud pie for desert which was pretty go. We will definitely come back.

We love this place! Wish I remembered our servers name but he couldn’t have been nicer! Perfect balance of presence and responsiveness with leaving us alone to enjoy our evening. Thank you Ventana Grill! It is our third time there and you never disappoint! It is now a must for every time we come to Pismo Beach.
