San Domenico Italian Bistrot - PISA

A lovely, peaceful restaurant behind the main thoroughfare, you could easily miss it. It was a quiet, lovely courtyard overlooking gardens. The food was excellent, as was the friendly but polite service.

I just had a wonderful meal here. The atmosphere was perfect with excellent music. Especially the food was great. It is beautifully presented and the aromas are perfectly balanced. Really a great dinner that was light but full of taste. We had a great time. Very recommended.

I had dinner in this restaurant with my girlfriend at the end of a tourist day trip to Pisa and it was an excellent way to finish our visit to Pisa. The food and service were very good and the ambience of the terrace outside was really nice. As a starter we took the daily special, which was a combination of 3 small fish dishes that were cooked for perfection and with delicious flavors. We followed the starter with another pasta dish that both tasted amazingly. The quantities of appetizer and pasta dish were so much that we decided to add a sweet dessert was more than enough to our dinner: a creamy tiramisu. The dishes were beautifully presented and service was fast and very friendly. I really recommend this place.
