The Famous - Piraeus

Great fish, great service, beautiful sea view. That was good. Do not set a 5-star, because they can clean the outer blinds slightly better on the outside or replace them with transparent ones. It is also quite annoying that people can park and block the view, but I don't think the restaurant can do anything about it.

Original taste, clean and professional service and worthy the cost

We ordered so much food and in general everything was fine.

The place has great views but the food is mediocre. The calamari we ordered was tough and the grilled sardines seemed to have been oven baked instead of grilled as they are supposed to. The result was some dry semi tasteless sardines which is really hard to make them bad, and yet they did. House wine was equally tasteless. The only great plate were the fried eggplants. Everything felt quite heavy afterwards. At some point a random server brought a beer that we didn't order but yet we saw it on the bill later. Good thing we were paying attention. Service was very average with servers clashing with the (boss??? register guy in a loud manner in full view of customers. Won't be going again.

The location is really good especially for watching the sunset. And that's kind of it. The place is rather rundown (sheetmats have holes in them, the cutlery and glasses were dirty) and the staff was rather unresponsive (we had to remind them a couple of times to bring our full order). The food was non impressive we had a lot better at the same prices. Go there for the view
