Pizzeria La Pergola - PIETRASANTA

Have been here twice; the first time was just for a drink, but after seeing the pizzas that other guests had, we thought we would try it. And oh boy, we were not disappointed. Instead of having pizza we had calzone instead. They were fantastic and very tasty. I had olives, ham, mushrooms, artichokes and cheese served with a fresh tomato sauce on the side. My other half had the Viparo, also served with the tomato sauce. With a half a litre of their sparkling house wine and a bottle of Moretti lager, it made a for a lovely meal and reasonable.

It was my last night in Italy and I was tired and hungry. My daughter and granddaughter and I wanted to have an easy celebratory dinner without spending a fortune. This great pizza restaurant, very near my hotel, was the perfect solution. To begin, the setting was perfect tables set up in the garden with festive strings of lights decorating the evening, lots of informal seating, perfect for children, and lots of families having fun. We ordered pizza, and salads and wine and beer and the portions were enormous. The service was great and the pizzas were excellent. And the price was very reasonable. Next time I visit Pietrasanta, I will go again.

We attended as a group. We were sat together but the food came out in dribs and drabs. The quality was ok but the enjoyment was spoiled.

Di solito mi fermo al pwr bar a fare colazione quando vado al mercato il sabato mattina. buona scelta di pasta e focaccia salata. Il cappuccino è molto buono.
