Bidra med feedbackAnother trendy, hip pizza wine bar opens in Phoenix Area. I have to say the ambience is quite amazing. They definitely took some time and looked after aesthetics, especially with the wine bottles that they used as taps. I recommend Prosciutto Pizza with zucchini frites. The zucchini frites are thinly cut, fried and served with this yogurt-based diving sauce a delicious appetizer to start your meal. The pizza is a classic thin crust cooked in a wood stove. They also have a wide range of wine and cocktails. Great date spot, but not sure how crowded it on weekends.
Dined at this restaurant for Restaurant Week Fall 2016. First, I would like to say that this was one of the best deals during Restaurant Week: 3 courses and two alcoholic drinks for $33 a person. None of the courses were intended to be shared, yet the serving sizes were quite large! My friend and I probably should have shared each course because we were so stuffed by the end of the night. Welcome Drink: Mango Bellini (sparkling wine with mango sorbet) 2 stars, the sparkling wine did not absorb the mango sorbet at all so it just felt very gimmicky and bland. Appetizer: Zucchine Fritte (fried zucchini) 5 STARS, extremely good! Fresh, crispy, and most likely the best fried zucchini I have ever had. Pizza: Polpettine Pizza (mini meatballs, roasted peppers, ricotta, and parmesan) 4 1/2 stars, meatballs delicious and the mixture of the ricotta and sauce. It just wasn't that warm and got cold very quickly. House Wine: Cabernet Sauvignon good, standard. Nice to have during the meal Dessert: Lime Meringue Jar 3 1/2 stars, initial taste is very good but it gets old kind of fast. I feel like this is a dessert much better suited for sharing. It looks like they have a good happy hour and I can definitely see myself coming back for the fried zucchini!
This restaurant had delicious margaritas, but I would have preferred the cheese to be a bit saltier. The service was great, and our server was very attentive while we were seated on the terrace; at times, it felt like we couldn't get enough attention. I also ordered a salad, which was really tasty.
I absolutely love this place! The outdoor seating is beautiful and relaxing, and the service is outstanding. The food is especially delicious. I've visited three times and tried the pizza, the cattle taco with kale and quinoa salad, and the Cuban sandwich. Everything was fantastic! I highly recommend it! P.S. They also have a great selection of wines and mixed drinks.
This is the best Caesar salad I've ever had! The smoky flavor really elevated the dish, and the ambiance is both beautiful and modern.
