Bidra med feedbackFabulous restaurant! Our favorite special occasion! We love the steaks. We order a tomahawk with onion rings and a pepper potato. The service is amazing and the food comes hot and fast.
Went for brunch. The upstairs restaurant, Richardson 's, was bustling. Just two tables were seated downstairs at the Rokerij. Our order was taken immediately upon arrival but after waiting 30 min., I signaled the waiter questioning the whereabouts of our breakfast. His response, I understand . We left after 40 min. elapsed, never having eaten. Apparently, the services were more important to the clients at Richardson 's What a waste of time! Never again!
We love this place and it usually never disappoints. Our last visit was, well let 's just say, less than great. Let 's start from the beginning, we tried booking the private room which is done through their event person. The guy was never there and never called us back. We had some out of town guests coming and we were excited to impress them with our favorite place. We arrived on time however our room was not ready for us, I went to the bar to ask to order a drink to which the bartender lady responded when I have the time and went about her business. I walked away and waited with my group. We did end up getting the room, but service was less than expected especially with the amount of money we had to spend in that room. The server took our drink orders, we waited for a very long time to receive them, at no point during this time did anyone come back to take appetizer orders. We got our appetizers and the server quickly rushed away again. Literally 2 hours in the server explained the specials to us and took our order. All In all it was very disappointing as we had really hyped the place to our guests. Let 's just say our reservation time was 7:30 and by the time we paid the bill it was 11:30. Just not what we were used to. But hey, I guess they feel superior enough that good service was not a priority to them. We will go back but it will be a long long time before we do. Good luck with whatever issues they are experiencing, it shouldn 't reflect on the service but somehow it is.
Went there last night with a party of 6 for a birthday dinner. Service was average for the number of people working and the size of the place. Cocktails were all good but a little slow to come out. The starter salad was drenched in salad dressing, almost not even edible but the salad ingredients were great. Several of the entrees were a little over cooked but not enough to send back and wait even longer. When presented with the bill it was completely wrong and had food that we didn't order on it and had to wait for it to be corrected. Server was friendly. All in all, the food is overpriced and was over cooked. Each of us had two drinks or wine and one appetizer for the table and at an average of $90 pp which included tip. As much as I wanted to like it, we likely won't go back.
Such a cool vibe! It can be 110° outside but when you go to the basement area and the fireplace is on, you feel like you need a sweater. Even if the sweater is just to absorb the wine stains from spilling on your own lap. Happy hour is the best because the prices are not inexpensive but the food is amazing. I believe these are the same owners as the upstairs bar, Richardson's, and Dick's Hideaway, down the street. The food is fantastic but I really like the vibe at this place the best. If you are new to the area and want a unique experience try it out. If you have lived here a long time and haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?
