Applebee's Grill - Philadelphia

Makes for Perfect late night date night with friends. Good inexpensive meal options.

My experience was a take out experience. I ordered my food and went into the restaurant to pick it up. My food was ready when I got there. However, I wasn't happy that I waited 15 minutes or so just to pay for my food. The place was not crowded, so I didn't see the issue. I ordered 2 of their bowls as well as onion rings. The bowls were not very good at all. The portion size did not match the price. There was very little food. The onion rings were good, and you get quite a bit for your money. The people were very nice and the restaurant was very clean that I could see from the front.

Applebee's, you have done it again! This restaurant is a powerhouse in the food service industry. The menu is consistently top-tier. Other places seem to serve up more snooty attitudes than good food. The Asian wonton tacos were a delight! ...delicate, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient. I have been a fan of Applebee's for years. This visit was an enjoyable close to a perfect evening.

Server forgot to mention an promotion that was going on so I received a free appetizer on my next visit.

Food was good. Small portions though. The wait staff is not very attendant. Not too much going for the place in general.
