Freaking love this place wish one was in the valley . Every time I come through Phenix city I'm stopping. This small spot is connected to a gas station but it's its own entity. The service from the moment you walk through the door is so welcoming. The staff is friendly and quick to make you feel like family. Now the food....OMG DELICIOUS! You cannot go wrong with anything from the menu. I don't even like coleslaw but the coleslaw here is just a must have. It pairs so perfectly with the BBQ meats and don't forget to try their baked potato salad. The best part is the super ridiculously low prices. Seriously I can get a whole meal for lunch for under 10 bucks. Stop by. You will not be disappointed. Oh and by the way, they'll even let you sample their sides before you order something you may not like. Their lunch special is 5.99. Sounds like a great price. I ordered two lunch specials. All I got was a sandwich. No side or drink. 12 dollars for two sandwiches. When I asked the lady what about the fries and drink she informed me rather rudely that the lunch special only comes with a sandwich, no side or drink. This sandwhich is definitely not worth 5.99.
