Drunken Sailor Marcoola Qld

I was extremely disappointed with my dining experience. The portion sizes were incredibly small and some of our orders were missing. When I informed the staff, they showed no concern. As a regular patron of Marcoola, I will not be returning to this restaurant for food again.

When we saw the beautiful furnishings and the atmosphere, we decided to eat. really good fish and chips, super friendly service and good price. highly recommended.

Really really wanted this to be great. Owners are encouraged to pay attention to the level of experience in the kitchen. Location is great, service was friendly and food delivered promptly. Good menu for both food and drink. Did not try the burgers but the...fish and chips were terrible. Grilled fish had no char and was overcooked to the pint of being like rubber. Calamari was over cooked. Chips (tried both types) were soggy. Captain’s Daughter at Perigien and the ever reliable Mooloolaba fish pier both in a different class.

Served by a lovely young girl- even brought us water whilst we were waiting. Really nice deco! A+ Top restaurant material!
