Bidra med feedbackI was eager to taste an authentic francesinha but was disappointed with the high price and subpar quality. The sandwich was meaty, but the cheap cheese and bland beer sauce left much to be desired. However, the feijoada was exceptional, delicious, and a larger portion compared to the sandwich at a more affordable price.
My group of five went to this restaurant for a meal before heading out. We ended up ordering more than we could eat. My partner and I each ordered an Espenada, which came with fries and a salad. Our friend tried the stew, while another couple shared a variety of tapas. The Espenada was delicious and tender, served on a rack. The fries were good but the salad needed more dressing. One order of Espenada with fries and salad was enough for two people. The stew was enjoyed by our friend, and the serving size was generous. The tapas included stuffed octopus (not liked), chorizo (a bit dry but a fun cooking experience), and prawns (much enjoyed). The drink list was decent, with options like red sangria in different sizes. The restaurant has a traditional European style that feels welcoming. I would return, but I would order less next time.
I have been there almost every month because my husband an I love the food provides there. Lovely people and delicious food. Strongly recommended to who want to eat a really good portuguese food.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone unfamiliar with Portuguese cuisine. The food is wonderful, the service is friendly, and the traditional Portuguese atmosphere is a definite plus. The sangria is famous for a reason, and the clams for appetizers are a must-try. The seafood rice has a nice spice kick to it as well. While I only tried a few dishes, there are probably many more worth sampling.
First visit to a Portuguese restaurant so I wasn't sure what to expect and I have nothing to compare with, but the food was very delicious and good value for money. The chorizo grilled on the table was quite nice. I also liked the octopus salad and the sandwich stack. I would definitely return to try the other items on the menu.
