The restaurant used to offer delicious, home-cooked meals but it appears that they have shifted their focus. With a new cook in the kitchen, the quality of the food has declined. The addition of off-track betting suggests that the owners are more interested in that than in providing good food and service. The female manager is often in a bad mood and seems preoccupied with her regular customers at the bar. If you enjoy betting on horse racing or prefer a more mature crowd, this restaurant may be suitable for you. However, it is no longer a place that I would recommend. Cheers.

Sticks is under new ownership and wow can you tell.... We ordered the burger and it was the best burger I've ever had, home made just like dad used to make and the fries are home cut fries, just like Harvey's used to do it 35 years ago. We thought maybe a one off, so we went back just the other evening and yup the same fantastic burger. The price 7 bucks... how can you go wrong. We hear the wings are great as well so we are going to try them again. The decor is no raving heck, however it is a pub and a sports pub at that so lots of TV's and sporting events to watch. One more thing ... the beer is cheap... tall boys for 5 bucks... yesssss Cheers

This is a great place to bet on sports events and several horse tracks at the same time. There is a great atmosphere to enjoy time with some friends over some snacks and a drink or two.

My wife and I stopped by to pick up some take-out food. We were informed that there might be a wait because the chef was busy preparing wings for another group. Despite there being only 6 people, we waited for an hour to receive our order. It seemed like the chef could only make one dish at a time. I shudder to think how long the wait would be if more groups arrived. Probably at least 90 minutes. The atmosphere was not great, with old TVs that seemed to have been on constantly for years. It felt more like a betting bar than a restaurant. If that's not your scene, I would recommend staying away. We will not be coming back.
