One of my Dad's favourite places in Bowmanville is Frosty John'sI'd heard about it, but hadn't had the chance to visit.

We've had the opportunity to stop at Sticks the last few weeks prior to the Lakers games. Always crowded and always fun! Everyone there is having a good time. They are not just going to Lakers game, some are there after work, some are just there because that's their local pub. The staff is amazing!!! They go above and beyond service! We recently went to a game and forgot our tickets. Our server presented us with two complimentary tickets to the Lakers game. Aren't we supposed to tip her? Love this place, not so much for the food but for the feeling of community.

My wife and I popped in to get some take out. We were told it could take awhile because the cook was busy making wings for another table group. There were only 6 people!! We waited AN HOUR for basic to-go food. Apparently the cook is unable to create more than one meal at a time. I couldn't imagine how long people would have to wait if 3 or 4 table groups showed up... i would bet at least 90 minutes.The place is dingy, many of the TV's have clearly been on 7/24 for 10+ years. It's really just an off track betting bar..... if you're not into that scene just stay away. We will never return.

Went on a coupon.Wings were good, were not from Petbo, so have tried a few places.Sat at the bar, it's sure a spot for locals, everyone knew everyone else. Food was good, was not too far from out hotel. Would return if they put coupons back on 1/2 Tuesdays
