I raise my score to five stars, as I really like this place. have sat here twice and enjoyed both experiences. my real caffe has closed a time and reopened in a larger space on the block or the shops opposite jalan barat. they have a very extensive menu (many of which contain ice, but many of them can be veganized by demanding that no eggs or milk are used. the pfanne mee is a beautiful vegan dish with weizennudeln, cut mushrooms, mock sardellen and yin choy (amaranth greens in a flight, tasteful broth. it is a generous portion and makes a satisfying meal. Other delicious dishes are the koay teow in meeresweedsuppe, wantan mee with 'mutton' curry and fried tofu skin (double check to ensure that eggs and milk 't used and kung po stil affe head mushroom. I also had the touch fried kai lan, who was as expected. all portion sizes are quite generous so they get a good value for their money. the room is very clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. I noticed that they contain straws with all cold drinks, even ice water/Chinese tea. comfortable, we got straws with our icy Chinese tee, although I did not request a straw. please remind them that they do not provide a straw! as we know they are unnecessary and harmful to the environment and the wild.
Has a good feel in the simple ambiance. MRC divided into cafe n dining, but one can also dine in Cafe section whilst having coffee. Straightforward food and enjoyed thoroughly on the rich taste of Pumpkin Noodles. Lived up to friendly service n quality food. Pizza was introduced recently... yet to try it. Good delectable food at a reasonable price. Updated from previous review on 2019-01-05

I ordered nasi lemak that comes with vegan mutton rendang. I thought they were first served with mock meat and I was taken back when I realized that they only use mushrooms. the texture was chewing as mutton. I was also curious and confirmed with teh waitress if it really is mutton. hahahhaah in a vegetarian restaurant. Imao, thank God has the waitress geduld and she answered my asking politely. so far one of the best vegan Mutton races I've tried.
The food was great. I have many options. I am glad that they also offer paper straws!
