Continental - PERUGIA

We wanted a simple meal after a long day of travelling and decided to give this little place a try. The owner was so welcoming and friendly, we knew it was just what we needed. Started by getting a bottle of frizzante water an appetizer: 2 tomato bruschetta three crostini: one with an olive tapenade, one with mushroom, one with artichoke: all very nice a good start. Ordered two side salads: VERY fresh, generous (esp for 4 Euros each! Then a Sicilian Pizza to share, which had just the right cheese, salami, sauce and crust balance. All washed down with a mezzo litro of sparkling white wine. Finally a limoncello for a digestive. Excellent value, very freshly made food, warm welcome, and great prices. We were restored by our meal!

I took a first and a second and they were both exceptional. excellent quality-price. absolutely to try.
