The Melbourne Restaurant & Bar - Perth

Met some friends and had a wonderful time chatting and eating good food. The service was very good too and the staff very professional. Lovely corner table, private and perfect. Dessert absolutely great.

Right across the road from QV1, this is a pretty convenient watering hole for a send-off and it worked pretty well for this.

First visit to The Melbourne in Perth and what a pleasant one! After a tiring 2 weeks of conference staying in Perth CBD, The Melbourne offered a pub/cool place vibe. The katsu burger was a fulfilling and current take on pub food. Most importantly the staff are lovely. Claudia behind the bar is just the perfect balance of efficient and empathic- a rare mix in hospitality these days. Thanks team!

My sons and I called in for lunch last Friday the 21st of December. The service is very poor took ages for a waitress to take our drink orders and the our lunch orders as well. Our lunch turn up before our drinks what sort of a Restaurant Bar is this I drank water with my lunch finally our drinks turn up halfway through eating our lunch. Not good enough. I will never come back very poor service

We dined at this restaurant before the Cher concert and were able to easily secure a table despite the busyness. The waitstaff was pleasant but the service was inconsistent. We were rushed to order before we even had a chance to look at the menu, and our drinks took a long time to arrive because they were forgotten. Our food also came out at different times and a side dish was forgotten. The fish dish was delicious, but the schnitzel was not up to par. Coffee took a while to be served, and when we went to pay, our order could not be found. It appears that there may have been new staff in training, but the experience left much to be desired and we are unlikely to return.
