Most likely Perfect venue for a coffee and afternoon tea in the heart of lovely Elizabeth quay. Seatings outside and inside have its own pros and both are beautiful Interior reminded me of a showroom at a house- lovely pastel colours and white Bathrooms were also nicely done and clean A bit inconvenient having to wait outside to be seated as you guys can be busy Lady in denim shirt who seemed to be the manager seated us werent too friendly but we werent fussed Waitresses were lovely though We ordered the Magharita pizza, little creatures pale ale and ice coffee Ice coffee came w Vanilla icecream which was yum and the pizza was better than expected! It was a decent pizza doe with proper mozarella I would def come back to try some of your cakes and a coffee
I have been here twice already and the place does not disappoint. I had the lamb the first time which was very yummy and tender. I had the trout the next time and it was delicious! I would definitely come back!
Great ambience and service! Dinner was promptly delivered to the table and the waiters knew the menu well. Had a mulled cider which was perfect for a cold winter's night.
Was waiting for my daughter's concert to start so decided to look for something to eat. Walking along Elizabeth quay , the restaurant's bright light attracted me like flies to the light . I must say view and atmosphere wise , it was beautiful . I ordered the grillled ocean trout, it came pretty quick . The trout was nicely cooked , potato was nice, I couldn't really fault it much. But generally you were paying for the view .
Really REALLY wanted this place to be good because of the amazing location and beautiful building but unfortunately after 2 visits it falls very short of a great place for breaky. I was disappointed by everything except the friendliness of the staff. - had to go through 3 staff members just to order a muffin. - asked for it to come out before the meals so we could have it while waiting but it took nearly 30mins just to put it on a plate and bring it out (which came out at the same time as the food anyway). Note - it wasn't very busy at all. - disappointed by the very few menu items for breaky, which haven't changed at all since it opened. I totally get the whole 'do less but do it really well' attitude, but unfortunately what they do offer they don't do well. - Very few hot breakfast & gf options. - only one type of extra shot you can add to your coffee, which they had run out of by 10am Sunday morning. - ordered the norma's salsa (2nd time) as it is one of just a couple of gf hot breaky items avail - disappointed both times. - came out completely cold. Asked them to heat it up. They quickly brought out a new dish (and were very friendly/accomodating). That was also freezing cold but I was starving by then so ate it. - My partner ordered the mixed mushroom dish which was slightly warmer but still cold. He enjoyed the sweet muffin. - completely tasteless (apart from the really strong taste of the vinegar the eggs were poached in. - gf bread was stale/hard. I totally understand that gf bread is hard to get right and accept that, but by the same token I have had some amazing gf bread elsewhere (EG Chinta has the best I've ever tasted). - small portions - we're not big eaters but were still hungry after. Especially since I barely ate the stale bread. - coffee was really good. One thing I could not fault is the customer service - very friendly staff, particularly the manager on duty. But unfortunately this is the type of place that should do breakfast really well, and it just doesn't. Location alone is not enough. Please rethink the menu to add some variety/more gf options and make some changes so that meals are more tasty and not freezing cold when they are taken to the table. And please PLEASE change your gf bread supplier and do not serve stale bread!
