Berry Nice Cafe - Perth

This has been our number one city cafe for over a year now.<br/ The food is fabulous, not overpriced and all made on the premises. They also support a city homeless shelter by selling cute little plants in coffee mugs (What a great idea! . <br/ <br/ I'm gluten free and I'm pretty fussy but the chef has always been happy to adapt meals to suit me. (They also have GF bread . Some of my stand out favourites have been: eggs on avocado toast with coriander freshly picked from the balcony garden, sichuan salt and pepper squid (Adapted to be gluten free but still crispy! and Thai beef salad. My partner loves the Memphis Beef Burger and often goes for the Turkish bread paninis in the window. We have fed the kids here no problem, though they mostly want to steal all of our rosemary chips (so good! . Goodies in the cake window are to die for and different every time we visit. <br/ <br/ This is a handy place to stop on the way to RPH medical appointments. If I have the kids with me I sit inside where there's loads of room for highchair and pram (OMG clean high chairs!! . The elevated back tables are popular for business meetings or work groups having a few afternoon drinks. From those same tables you can look through a window to the kitchen and watch the chef hanging fresh pasta. <br/ <br/ I'm no coffee snob, but I love that I can try a different single origin coffee every visit. Plus it comes with complimentary sparkling water a nice touch. My coffee snob friends gave the brew the thumbs up.<br/ <br/ Most of all, I love the feel of this place. It's bright, roomy, relaxed and genuinely friendly.

I tried this cafe for the first time today for lunch. I had a Memphis Beef Burger which was very tasty (slow cooked spiced beef) and a coffee which was also nice. Reasonably priced at just under $20 total. The staff were all very friendly and service was fast. I recommend trying this place especially since there are very few value for money options for lunch in this area of the CBD.

This is a hidden gem. It does excellent soup and casual lunches. The balcony is beautiful on a nice day, and the service is friendly and efficient. The coffee (the bell weather of any cafe) is 8/10.My recommendation is that you stay away from here because I like it just the way it is; more customers would just ruin it for me.

Delicious lunch lovely cafe.. The staff were very friendly a pleasant surprise in Perth. I was impressed by the spaciousness of the cafe, no tiny noisy close together tables here. it's all new and I think the fit out is lovely. It made for the perfect place to meet and do business, which after two nice coffees, morning became lunch. I had what they call the Memphis Beef Burger. With slow cooked meat and coleslaw, it was delicious. It came with chips included and for less than $15, I thought it might be bargain of the month. My dining companion had the Thai salad. He said it was packed full of flavour and reminded him of his travels in Thailand. We thanked the staff for our meals and it turns out that in addition to the chef, there is a Thai guy in the kitchen. No wonder it's authentic! With great coffee, tasty food and friendly service, I know where I will be planning my client meetings in future.
