The Paper Boat On Loch Tay

The restaurant is in a beautiful location and offers excellent service and delicious food. We enjoyed bacon rolls, an egg roll, and scones cakes, all of which were fantastic. We will definitely return during our next visit to the area.

I agree with other reviews that the scones are fantastic. This small establishment has great service and I would definitely come back again.

The restaurant was short-staffed due to illness, which was out of their control. However, they could still greet guests in a friendly manner. The person behind the counter seemed stressed and was bordering on rude and abrupt. The coffee was great, and the scone and cinnamon bun were lovely. Unfortunately, the white hot chocolate tasted like hot milk and was not drinkable. The decor had changed, and the table arrangement was different from last time, not in a good way. The inside no longer resembled the pictures. If possible, I recommend sitting outside as the views are stunning.

Stopped for coffee tea and cake. Scones were good and views over Loch Tay were beautiful. Good for a stop and break with family.

Tucked away in the corner of the loch. Some seating inside, outside and blankets on the edge of the loch excellent views. Minimal menu but excellent quality. Both cheese and fruit scones amazing. Bacon roll excellent too. Hot and cold drink choices are good too.
