The Social On 83rd - Peoria

I made the reservation a week ago and then called day before to make sure it was a terrace table as I wanted to bring my dog. the girl was nice over the phone, said it was taken care of her. we show up with my dog on Sunday and they had us down for a table. I told the manager I had called to make her an accommodation to sit on the grass area on the back, but the waitress was obviously super annoyed that she had to wait for us and showed it. she was visibly irritated, was hurried when she asked about the order, and then said, are they young ready here? failing to document phone calls accordingly should not have been withdrawn. we will not return.

Although the restaurant was very busy our table was ready on time of reservation. Service was wonderful. They were quick and efficient to get our drinks and food. The food was great!

The waitress was excellent. she knew the menu and was pleasant and attentive to our needs.

Very enjoyed our helpful server on the outside terrace with tips to cocktails. between us we had grundburger, loaded grilled cheese, rueben and the chicken sandwich with honey on it. the chicken sandwich was incredible, really enjoyed. fries were hot, plentiful and quite the tasty. nizza heating went over head to keep us warm, pleasant evening.

We've eaten here many times and we met friends who never had eaten here. our friends really liked the restaurant, I am sure they will return. great service, excellent eating and fantastic bar drinks.
