Lachi Indian Restaurant - Penticton

On our first visit, we ordered takeout and the food was good. However, they did not include any napkins or cutlery with our order (I didn't realize we had to ask for them). The next day, we dined in and had a great experience, especially enjoying their chai. We ordered again later that evening, but were not impressed with their mixed vegetables dish. Additionally, during our dine-in visit, I was bothered by a server who kept touching her hair. I observed her taking her hair tie off and putting it back on multiple times. It was off-putting to see someone handling food while also touching their hair without washing it. Fortunately, she did not serve us. Despite these issues, I will give them another chance and visit again.

Hit this place for lunch based on a recommendation. Lunch was great and less than 15$ which I appreciate. The only thing holding me back for 5 stars as the butter chicken portion was a little light. Would have liked to see more protein in it but overall I’m very happy.

Underrated!! This place deserves endless customers. Great portion of food. Very tasty. Hardworking staff especially Karanveer,he has shown indeed great customer service and has served us perfectly, answering to all our needs.

Our meal here was excellent. Served promptly and very hot, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is a good size, so not crowded and quiet.

Four of us went to Lachi for dinner. Before we went in, a customer just leaving said to us delicious and it is true. The décor of the restaurant is simple, but the food is excellent. One member of our group is not a fan of Indian cuisine but even this person praised the quality of the food. We had tandoori chicken, lamb balti, prawn biryani, a vegetable dish, naan, .... and every dish tasted great. I eat out a lot and it is not often that I have such a satisfactory experience. I feel so strongly about this that I decided to write a review in TripAdvisor.
